Great news! But… Insulation funding finally announced

Funding has been announced for the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) Better Energy Communities scheme.
Energy Communities Tipperary Coopperative has been awarded E1.4 million euro in grant funding to upgrade 200 houses in 8 parishes in the north of Tipperary.
Gearóid Fitzgibbon, founder member of Energy Communities Tipperary and staff member of North Tipperary LEADER Partnership, welcomed the announcement. “This is a great vote of confidence in the efforts of the volunteers and development agencies who have been supporting this initiative.” For more information see this link on the Department of Energy announcement announcing the funding.
